How do you prepare for a successful interview?
- Prepare a mini presentation including:
- career objectives
- experiences (give specific examples)
- skills
- Know where you are going for the interview:
- how long does it take to get there?
- be there at least 10 minutes early
- if being driven by someone, leave him/her in the car
- Have a clean copy of your resumé
- updated
- references (3)
- Folder or briefcase
- looks professional
- resumé, cover letter, references, reference letters
- Pencil/pen and a notebook
- info for second interview
- names..., etc.
- Dress well and clean
- clothes must be clean and ironed
- good hair
- Watch your language and be attentive!

- Listen and speak
- When answering questions, avoid "um" and really long answers
