Langue seconde (8-12)
Langue seconde 8-12 courses are mandatory for French Immersion students in order to fulfill the Double Dogwood Diploma requirements. Students will develop language skills while reading, writing, listening and speaking French. It is crucial for students to express themselves in French as often as possible while in the classroom. Learning activities include discussion, role play, presentations, singing, watching movies and reading various literary genres. All students will also be asked to take part in Concours d’art oratoire (Public Speech Contest).
The Grade 12 Langue seconde provincial exam is mandatory for French Immersion students.
