Sunpeaks

This year 63 music students from senior jazz band, senior band and senior choir will be travelling to Kamloops and Sunpeaks ski resort for a music festival. We plan to take the canyon highway and ride the gondola on our way up. We also plan a school concert in Hope on our way to Kamloops.

Once in Kamloops we are staying at a great hotel with hot tub and giant water slide. We have arranged a workshop for our jazz band in the conference room at the hotel. The following day all 3 of our groups will perform at schools in Kamloops. We then head up to Sunpeaks where we are staying at the Sunpeaks Delta, a 5 star hotel.

The festival takes place in this hotel and all 3 of our groups will be performing and having workshops throughout the music festival. On the final morning our choir will be part of a mass choir concert and then we will depart for a quick return down the Coquihalla back to Moscrop.

Dates of the trip are: Thursday March 22 - Sunday March 25.
